NOVA on PBS showed "Secrets of the Crocodile Caves. I found it interesting. In the northern part of Madagascar, Nile crocodiles live in the caves. This is especially interesting for two reasons. First, since they are cold-blooded, crocodiles are very dependent on heat to regulate their temperature. So, why would they take to caves. Second, how do they get around in a place where there is no light? The show also showed crowned lemurs, a fossa, and other animals of the area. There is a longer description of the show and some pictures at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/croccaves .

its amazing what some animals can do they are so many more abilities that humans wouldnt even normally think about and we discover more every day about them on wild discovery(on discovery channel) i saw a show about the African desert and there was small population of nile crocs (only about three left) living in a tiny desert pool that nearly dries up at times in a canyon hundreds of miles from any other known croc populations
