right-o. i figured i should add something new once again, and since i'm writing a couple of poems for some nation-wide poetry contest thing, i decided to add one of them. i'm turning this one in tomorrow. the rest aren't due for months. wish me luck!

Celtic Lullaby

O ancient lullaby
Of Celtic mind,
Caress me once again!
My wounds you heal;
Let me feel
Your soothing hands again.

Silver pipes and
A strumming lute
Dance round harps of gold.
A cascade of hues
As the music moves
Throughout the land of old.

Nár lige Dia*
Your music should cease!
Sing to me, O song!
From the morning to night
In dark and light,
Sing all night long!

A sweet, tender kiss
Is like to your tune
Causing pain to flee
Though few can hear
Your true melody clear
Fill me with esprit!
