Now then,
I have been testing interesting things in APE, and have found out that by using paint and APE, It can make stuff that will blend in!
Here's what you need:
WinZip Update(I think)
Paint
APE
time(about 3-10,minutes depends on animal size)

1. Open APE and choose the animal you want.
2.Save an E animaton, that looks like it is standing still somewhere, minimize APE and open the picture in paint.
3.Now, here is the fun part:
choose the colors you want(make sure their are more than two, and make sure they can blend easily)
Here are a couple color groups:
Red,Blue,Green,Yellow (Tropical)
Red,Pink,Orange,Dark Red (Red)
Blue,Green,Light Blue, Dark Blue (Aqua)
Red, Light Purple, Yellow, Orange (Citrus)

then, you use the colors and make everything that is the animal(not the shadow or the backround) those colors by using the pencil and "wiritng" the colors on the animal.

4.now, save the picture and make it the animals icon.

5.save and exit APE

6. extract the animal and open animals, then the code# folder and find the ic folder, copy N.pal, not icempeg or whatever.pal, N.pal and paste it on desktop, go back to the other folder, find the .pal in it, rename the N.pal on desktop to it, then replace the code# .pal with the desktop .pal. go to the animals folder and add it to the animal.ztd, go to options, click save settings now

7. open ape and look at the animatons it should have a new looking animal.

Note: please reply is this works and you don't have an XP computer, 'cause maybe it was since I had XP it worked.

Good Luck!
