How can I keep my meerkats from escaping?

Do they tunnel out?

When you adopt your meerkat, go to the zookeeper's recommendations and look at the fences. These are the ones that the meerkat can't escape from.

I always sink the exhibit down so that they cannot escape. I know that one of the unlocked theme fences keep them in to but I can't remember which one. Also putting water around the border of the enclosure on the inside works to. I hope this helps you keep the sneeky little buggers in.

what u do is make a wall or concrete fence round it like the brick wall or acrylic walls.

then they shouldnt escape
