Need Advice & Help!

Hello, everybody!

I just received Zoo Tycoon 2 as a present and am starting to try it out. I have 2 questions so far:

1. How do I make the fences rounded instead of straight-lines? They look rounded on the box cover, so I'm wondering what the trick is.

2. How do I unlock all available animals from the very beginning in freeform mode? I tried the cheats link and those aren't suitable for Zoo Tycoon 2, only for the original version.

Try using the concrete fences to practice with the roundness. Those round out nicely. Some fences, such as the chain link and wooden fences, won't round out. What I suggest you try is laying a path that has a curve in it, then putting either the concrete fence or the concrete and glass one up to it and it should round itself out automatically.

When you play the sandbox mode, all items should be unlocked. Campaign and challenge modes require you to either research or accomplish a goal before you're allowed to use certain items. When you play sandbox, you won't have the items you win in the campaigns and challenges until you complete those.

There really aren't any cheats necessary for sandbox mode. Everything will be availalbe right from the get-go, with unlimited funds.

Your advice is very helpful, I'll try it ASAP. You mention "sandbox mode" and that everything should be available from the start in sandbox mode. Is sandbox mode the same as freeform mode?

Yes, sandbox is the same as freeform.

And you can also round fences with the octagon fence tool.
