A Palestinian youth holds a badly injured racoon after pulling it from the rubble of the destroyed zoo in the Brazil section of the Rafah refugee camp, southern Gaza Strip , Friday, May 21, 2004. Many of the animals at the small zoo either escaped or died in the destruction, the owner said. Israeli troops pulled back from two neighborhoods in this sprawling Palestinian refugee camp Friday, leaving behind dozens of demolished and damaged homes, torn up roads and flattened cars. Ugh, that is really depressing. Another cost of human conflict, unfortunately. Poor animals.

Oh, for goodness sake! Why can't humans just stop destroying everything, including each other and the other living things on this planet!? I hope the animals that died can rest in peace...

Jeez.. More destruction. And the cost of more lives. Innocent lives, that is. Humans cannot understand the value of others sometimes. Some of us, and that's quite a lot of us, don't have the care in the world for neither animals, nor other humans. The thing the Earth must fear the most is humans. We are the destruction of the world. We bring down everything that was once an abundance. I am so ashamed that we have such a bad reputation both in our own world, and in the animals' world. Our freewill ends at such cruel limits. :(
