about half an hour ago i was in my bedroom about to start on my homework when i heard a cat sceaming VERY VERY loudly and immediatly though that my cat Tiger had been hit by a car or something and was laying in the street screaming in pain (we live on a busy street but my cat rarly if ever crosses it) so i ran outside and found him in my neighbors yard facing his "mortal enemy" (some black and white cat from down the street) it was quite surprising and a little bit funny seeing their faces staring at me as they both paused in mid-fight then suddenly another jet-black cat bolted from the bushes beside them

then seeing that was all that was going on i went back inside and walked through the house to the kitchen and there was my cat who i had just seen fighting out front waiting at the back door as inoccently as possible (with small bits of fur hanging out of places on his face and large black chunks of fur in his front claws) as if nothing had ever happened in the end it turned out to be pretty funny

this happens often around here because three large male cats territories overlap in this area it usually doesnt result in any injuries (my cat does have a small peice of his ear missing from a fight a few years back) and it some times is entertaining(as long as it doesnt get out of hand)
so anyway i just thought i'd share the story

Sounds like you got yourself your own kittie WWIII! When I lived over at my old house, we used to get tons of cat fights almost daily. We'd nearly literally look at the clock and tell each other when it was around the time for another kittie fight. Even my own two cats never fought. They just "play fight". And they're litter mates. Well, I hope your kitties are doing fine now. They're probably practically shredded by now from past fights..

my six year old cat(the on that always fights) probably has tons of tiny scars but only one thats really visable(the one on his ear)
him and my other cat 8 month old female always fight( its halfway between play fighting ang real fighting they have claws beared but he lets go of her if she squeals) and its quite entertaining she holds him around the neckwith her front legs and puts her head near his chest and kicks him in the face over and over with her back legs its even funnier cause of the size difference(hes a huge male and shes a half-grown female)

There was once where my cat, Spike (big, fat male blob ), began to chase his sister throughout the house, jumping over things and ducking under them, constantly. Chessie, the female, darted past me as I sat there, watching them. Spike soon followed, jumping over my crossed legs. His back legs caught my foot, and he grasped the sole of it with his claws. A huge gash was left bleeding, and I was left there to scowl at Spike, who was still having fun chasing Chessie.

in the fall, we came upon a stray cat, very malnouished, sick, and sad. to make a long horrible story short, we took the cat in our place so we could take him to the shelter in a few hours. he was locked in the computer room so my other cats would not cause any issues.
as i left the computer room Whisper was standing right there at the door, and she pushed her way past me. she saw the cat, and crept right down to her stomache, and stretched out sooo low and emitted this.. this howl that i had no clue could come from a kitty. Odin, was all chillin and cool with it cause he doesnt care about other cats.... that is, until whisper freaked. the stray came up to whisper and sniffed her nose, and whisper YEOWLED and jumped at him and that caused my dear odin to freak out and attack the stray. it was two against one, and i have never seen a cat fight, none the less my two cats in one, and i was so scared. my mother was visiting at the time, and i screamed for her to help and then both cats chased the poor stray all around the apartment and omg what a bad day that was.
eventually i was able to pick up odin, and put him in a seperate room. thankfull the shelter opened soon, and i cuddled the stray all the way to the shelter.

what a day that was
