Hello I cant seem to get back to the animal request forum..but I need help with the name of the lil bugger monkey I would love to see in ZT...here goes

He was in a monkey house in the Denver Zoo..I call him the Little Old Man Monkey..well simply because that's how he looks..Hes a small monkey with white hair..looks kinda Lion King-ish...He's maybe 12inches tall or so..vegatarian..and cute as heck...I found his name once but can't remember where or what it was..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

The Denver Zoo has a web site at http://www.denverzoo.org . However, it does not have a complete list of their animals and the Primate House Panarama is not detailed enough to make out individual species. If you contact them via their web site, they might help you.

There are many possibilities. Maybe it is a golden lion tamarin. (The coloring of some individuals are so pale that they look white.) Or maybe a Japanese macaque (or snow monkey). Or maybe a hanuman langur.

To find animals, one of the places I look is the Animal Diversity site at the University of Michigan. They have over a hundred primate pictures starting at http://animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/site...s/Primates.html .

I went to the Denver Zoo about 6 years ago and remember the Primate House well. I definitely think the monkey in question is a cotton-top tamarin.
