How did you all spend your time?
Our tradition is simple, wake up, go downstairs, sreach and yell about our easter baskets, then go outside to hunt for easter eggs.
I am a strong beliver of the Easter Bunny!!

Happy Easter!
I went to church this morning - dressed up for once... Got to wear my long skirt (it's still chilly out), blouse, and the vest my mom made me

Since you all don't get to see me on a daily basis, I should tell you... I almost never dress up! So that was kind of fun for me. (Errrr... I go to a church on campus, and so not everyone dressed up - including the pastor, who was wearing a t-shirt... but there were enough that I didn't feel awkward)
My mom sent a box with Easter candy on Thursday. It was on the mailroom list today, but I don't get to pick it up until tomorrow. Then I can pig out on Easter candy
And I got a call from home, so I got to talk to my family. That was nice. Even if I just talked to them yesterday.

I went to church, but I ended up helping my mom take care of little kids while their parents are at the service. Had to repeatedly stop one kid from running away
I never dress up for church either. We have a contemporary service between the two traditional ones and I generally just wear a sweatshirt and jeans. I actually wore corduroys.
Then we went to my grandmas and got some candy and other stuff after lunch.

I didn't do much. Just had dinner with my family and watched the neighbors put on an egg hunt for their grandkids.
It was hard to get in the spirit of Easter this year, since it was so early. And just in case you didn't know, the date of Easter is determined by the moon! Yes, it is the first Sunday after the first full moon of the vernal equinox. My grandpa taught me that many years ago. But one thing he didn't tell me, and one thing I just found out, is that it is the first Sunday after the first full moon of the vernal equinox
unless it is the first day of the Jewish passover festival, in which case it is moved to the following Sunday.
Anyway....that's just me rambling on. I hope you all had a nice Easter!
